cannot read property 'style' of undefined

Today I used [patch-package](https://github.com/ds300/patch-package) to patch `react-native-highlight-words@1.0.1` for the project I'm working on.

With React Native 0.74.5, react-native-highlight-words fails with `cannot read property 'style' of undefined`
