datatables view showing blank page and no table - missing CSRF token

Description
When creating a table view using the datatables_view plugin, there is just a large blank area where a table should be.
Firefox web developer tool shows error:
`DataTables error msg: DataTables warning: table id=dtprv - Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/7`
