Develop icons to represent reusable content (snippets)

As an author, I want to be aware of the type of content I'm using in a page and how it is managed within the UI.

The type of content currently known as snippets is reusable content that will have special qualities and parameters re managing it. It seems to me that an icon that reinforces that idea would be helpful. We currently have contacts, images, and soon, alerts which are reusable on pages. I'd like some similar treatment for each icon of that type, for example, a gear on a contact icon, a gear on an image icon, a gear on an alert icon.
