Enable metadata syncing on secondaries automatically

Currently a secondary needs to have metadata syncing enabled manually. All this does is toggle a collumn, because it is expected the metadata gets to the secondary through replication from the primary node. It would be easier and less error prone, to keep the field of the secondaries in sync with the field of the primary in the same group.
