QMD _files directory

Where are you guys rendering your qmd files? The NRT Lance and NYC lead .qmd files have corresponding directories with the _files/ suffix. These should not be here. You should be rendering your quarto document inside of the repo so it will acknowledge the _quarto.yml file and use embed-resources: true (all images are embedded in the rendered html file without additional directories).

Start by inspecting the NRT Lance and NYC lead .qmd files and the repository's _quarto.yml file, then trace where those documents are rendered. Verify that rendering from inside the repository uses the existing embed-resources setting. Done means the rendered HTML files no longer produce corresponding directories with the _files/ suffix.
