Description
So before we get into the request, lets have a little story time. I am a co-owner of a creative server that focuses on building the most realistic things possible. We have 5 cities based very closely off ones in real life as well as very detailed terrain, vehicles, and other mechanics. We wanted to get even more detailed so I added metadata road textures to our server resource pack, which makes the roads look extremely detailed and nice.
The only problem is, I always used chunky in the past when we only used wool for our roads, and it worked fine. But now that we have metadata roads, they don't show up properly in chunky and the renders don't look good.
So, is there any chance that we could see metadata support in newer updates? I myself am not a coder so I could be wrong, but I don't see why it should be so hard that chunky can just access the files for metadata textures in the loaded resource pack. So instead of seeing a block as id 5, it sees it as id 5:7, just like it does for wool and stained glass.
Support for metadata textures would help me a lot, and I decided to throw in one of my renders just to show you what I'm talking about!

Thanks,
