Description
This is a one time action. As soon as the device local configuration is successful the device gets register with the server and receives a device key on successful registration which acts as an access token for the device in further communications with the server. The device key will be stored in the EEPROM of the device to support "auto-connect" feature on device reboot.

Research direction
The issue mentions device local configuration, server registration, device-key issuance, EEPROM storage, and auto-connect after reboot, but names no files, tests, or entry points. First determine the device and server components involved and clarify the registration protocol, then define completion criteria for successful registration, persistent key storage, and reboot reconnection.
