### What You Are Seeing?
Chocolatey thinks I have `samsung-magician` version 8.2.0.880 installed, but it is nowhere to be found; the actual version installed is the current one (9.0.0.910).
However, I do see that chocolatey has a folder at `C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\.chocolatey\samsung-magician.8.2.0.880`. It may be pertinent that Samsung Magician upgraded itself apart from any involvement by chocolatey.
### What is Expected?
That chocolatey sees the actual installed version number (and therefore doesn't note this package as outdated).
### How Did You Get This To Happen?
1. Install `samsung-magician`
2. Wait till Samsung updates their software
3. Allow it to update itself
4. Check chococlatey for the status of the package

Research direction
Start with the reproduction steps and the linked output log, then identify the Chocolatey CLI entry point responsible for reporting installed package versions. Reproduce the Samsung Magician self-update scenario and verify that the reported version matches the actually installed version without treating the old package folder as current.
