Description
I was downloading a package when I noticed that it also downloaded 7zip to my system to extract the installer. I do not want to use 7zip as its country and mine are not on the best of terms right now (let's leave it at that please) and want to use an alternative (in my case, WinRAR). Is there a way to choose which archiver I wish to use in the event that the package is downloaded as an archive file?

Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is named. Start by locating the package archive extraction path and its handling of 7zip, then trace how configuration is loaded. Done should mean users can choose an alternative archiver, such as WinRAR, when an archive package is downloaded.
