Description
BC is adopting permanent daylight savings time in 2026, meaning the last DST-related time change at the CHIME telescope happens 8 March 2026. After this, the CHIME telescope will be permanently on Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).
The web viewer JS, which manually calculates DST needs to be updated to handle this (while keeping the DST calculation for dates from previous years). https://archive.news.gov.bc.ca/releases/news_releases_2024-2028/2026AG0013-000209.htm
