Problems installing

I have followed all the steps and it worked, but I am unsure how to proceed. If I now go to localhost:4444 (I figures out this is the port used) I get a page saying "Welcome to this ELN app" with a link "Go to on-tabs" leading to localhost:4444/on-tabs, this page is empty.
So how can I proceed? Also which components are installed and how do they interact? I think there must be a couchdb instance running, but if I try to contact it (port 5984 seems to be used for couchdb) I can't. Should couchdb run? If so, how can I use it? It might be good to play with it to see what's there.
