Display statistics on the number of spectra

Description
If the panels are closed we have no way to guess than actually many spectra are available.
This is especially problematic when students make exercises on their laptop that does not necessary have a very high resolution.
Should we add a new tool on the left that allows to switch to another spectrum ?
Should the 'zoom' tool have more options on the top that allows to switch from one spectrum to another ?
Should we just have some information in the bottom bar (without a way to switch from one spectrum to another) ?
