Can't type h or l characters in compose window when overlaid on "catch up"

**Describe the bug**
I cannot type upper- or lowercase `h` or `l` characters in the compose post window when it is overlaid on the "catch up" view

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go to "Catch Up", choose a time frame, and let it load some posts
2. Bring up the compose post overlay by typing lowercase `c`
3. Attempt to type an `H` or `L` character, upper or lowercase, in the compose window

**Expected behavior**
These letters should appear in the composed post

- OS: MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1
- Browser: Safari
- Version 17.2.1

**Additional context**
I am unable to reproduce this behavior with the "Compose in New Window" via capital `C`, or when it is overlaid on the main timeline view.

Start by reproducing the issue in Safari on macOS in the Catch Up view, then open the compose overlay with lowercase `c` and test upper- and lowercase `h` and `l`. Trace the keyboard handling for the Catch Up view and overlay, comparing it with the main timeline and Compose in New Window. Done means both letters can be entered in the overlaid composer without breaking the existing shortcuts.
