Panning animation a smidge too fast

This is probably the dumbest, most nit-picky thing, but I am always a little frustrated that the panning effect on hover is so fast.

Your feedback on this, and if you'd like a PR to fix it. I'll try and half or quater the speed of the pan.

I thought about just submitting a PR, but like it's such a nit-pick that I would check your feelings on it.
