Description
Somewhere there's a setting I toggled, want to revert, and can't now find that setting. When someone posts a media (video) link, and I click it, it opens in an embed/webview window. I don't want to open YouTube. In my non-Mastodon browsing ordinarily, I have redirection in place to open YouTube content in a privacy frontend like Invidious. This isn't happening any longer in Phanpy/Mastodon; I'd like it to open in a new browser tab so that it will. Can you help?
I posted this as a DM as well, sorry to duplicate, please disregard one or the other.

Research direction
The issue names no files or tests; start by locating the media-link click handling and the setting that controls embedded or webview opening. Confirm the intended behavior with YouTube links and verify that media opens in a new browser tab so external redirection can apply.
