search UI breaks, no longer supprts j / k shortcut after multiple consecutive searchers

### Bug description

After multiple searches where new search terms where entered, something breaks in the UI and I can no longer go to the next post with j / go up with k .

Scrolling with space still works.

### To reproduce

1. go to homepage
2. press /
3. search search something
4. look at content with j / k
5. repeat steps 2-4

Outcome: at some point j no longer goes to the next post.

### Expected behavior

j / k keeps working, no matter how many searches are done.
