search shortcut `/` not working on iPad OS with German keyboard layout

### Bug description

I have an iPad with the smart folio keyboard. I cannot open the search feature, although pressing cmd+7 (which is / on my keyboard) works in general.

### To reproduce

1. go to homepage
2. press cmd+7
3. search does no open

### Expected behavior

search field opens

### Other

I have the keyboard set to German layout. Switching to english layout then pressing - (which is where / is on english keyboards) seems to work.
