Weird Android notification

I tried out Panphy on my Pixel via chrome and it invited me to turn it into an "app" and put it on one of my screens. Which I did, and it works just fine. This is not exotic, I have a few other "Apps" that are similar Chrome things.

Anyhow, once a day or so I get the attached notification. No harm in it, but also not something I see from any of the other "Chrome" apps. Low-priority but I thought you might be interested.

(If you tap the notification it goes away.)


Start by reproducing the notification on a Pixel using Chrome after installing Panphy to the home screen, and compare it with the other Chrome apps described in the report. Inspect the app's notification and installed-app behavior to determine what triggers the periodic notification. Done means identifying the cause and preventing the unwanted notification without breaking normal app behavior.
