### Bug description

In multi-column mode, swiping to the first and last column requires at least 4-8 swipes before it switches to the column. I have 6 columns:
1. Home
2. Local
3. Trending
4. News (List)
5. Bookmarks
6. Notifications

Swiping to the right from Home works perfectly fine, up until Bookmarks, and then trying to swipe to Notifications, it just won't switch to the last column. It takes 4-8 swipes before it switches. Same thing the other way around, swiping away to the left from Notifications, up until Local timeline works flawlessly, but to get to the Home column, takes a lot of tries to get to.
I can see some lagging and stuttering when swiping to the first and last columns.

### To reproduce

1. Create multi-column setup, with at least 4 columns (happens every now and then on 3 columns as well)
2. Swipe through from left to right, and back again
3. Observe the lagging and stuttering during swiping

### Expected behavior

The swipe should be as smooth as with the other, middle columns, and not require more than one swipe to get to the first and last columns.
