Description

### Practitioner Guide Topic (1 - 3 words)

This guide should offer a clear roadmap for understanding and measuring open source project’s impact and goals with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

### Primary Metrics (2 - 4 metrics)

We've not been able to identify CHAOSS metrics related to the UN's sdgs yet

### Why is this topic important? How will this help people improve their open source project and / or community? Who will benefit from this guide?

In the chaoss un-sdg working group we believe every project tells a story. A project may not be an overt global solution, but it can still make a significant contribution to worldwide efforts that improve lives.

This guide will benefit projects unsure how it's making a global impact and help projects to answer how they contribute to SDGs

### How would you like to see this guide developed?

I would like to help write the guide, but I need someone with more experience in the topic to help me

### Additional Notes

This is originally Cassie's idea, and you can find the initial issue here: https://github.com/chaoss/wg-un-sdg/issues/9
