Subnav web component doesn't work in Safari

**This is the behavior I’m seeing**

When clicking links in a subnav menu within the `` component in Safari (26.4), the subnav closes but the link doesn't load.

Links should work as expected. They do in Firefox and Chrome, this appears to be a Safari-specific issue.
