Add compact mode

Add a ui setting for compact mode that will reduce paddings, show errors differently (maybe as a popover, avoiding having the current empty slots) and maybe display for example the "add item" as a smaller button at the right of the header. This should in principle be a common setting applicable to every field, and should also apply to the published view. It would also be interesting to have it in #104 too
