Description
> Add a note somewhere about how it was tested?
This was tested with pykimp server instance deployed in kubernetes cluster,
I'll open an issue to track this, so we can add e2e for kmip encryption in a follow-up pr.

Research direction
No repository files, tests, or entry points are named. Begin by locating the RBD end-to-end test area and the Kubernetes setup for the pykimp server, then determine how KMIP encryption should be exercised there. Done means a repeatable end-to-end test covers RBD KMIP encryption.
