Description
In the current implementation the input for the reconstruction is only saved as a .png file, it would be nice to also have the .mrc for comparison with the output.

Locate where val_recon_in is currently saved as a PNG and read the surrounding reconstruction-output flow. Add the corresponding MRC output for comparison with the reconstruction result, then verify that the expected MRC file is produced alongside the existing PNG.
