Description

One big issue with the Firefox Color extension is that the default theme will be temporarily flashed during the browser startup, which I find really ugly and jarring.

But standalone theme extensions does not have this problem. Thankfully, Firefox Color makes it really easy to export your theme as an extension and distribute it in the Firefox Add-ons Marketplace:

So it would be really awesome if the catppuccin org could distribute an official extension for the Firefox theme!

Research direction

Start by reviewing the repository's current extension packaging entry point and Firefox Color's export flow; the issue names no files or tests. Confirm what is needed to produce a standalone Firefox theme extension, then verify that the official extension is distributed through the Firefox Add-ons Marketplace.
