[Edge] [Bug] New Tab Background Resets

Using this addon in Edge, with daily backgrounds enabled. Every time a new background is automatically applied by Edge, the theme paints the solid Mauve color over it and I need to re-enable the `Background` toggle for the new image to show up:

Is it possible to have this setting persist?

Reproduce the issue in Edge with daily backgrounds enabled, then inspect how the extension applies the Background toggle when a new image is supplied. Done means the new Edge background remains visible without manually re-enabling the toggle.
