catboost version: 1.0.5
Operating System: MacOS
CPU: M1 Max
GPU: M1 Max
Currently, the catboost 1.0.5 only supports apple silicon with CPU. However, this chip has additional high-performance GPU and neural engine with higher unified memory which can accelerate model training like tensorflow-metal (https://developer.apple.com/metal/tensorflow-plugin/)
