Description

### On-chain signature verification

### Prize Bounty

82,750 CSPR (approx. 10,000 USDT) for each of the top 6 various advanced submissions

### Challenge Description
This challenge focuses on creating the equivalent of [ECrecover](https://coders-errand.com/ecrecover-signature-verification-ethereum/) for the Casper blockchain. The main requirement is to compute the key that produced a signature and to provide the mathematical proof.

Winning contributors may receive funding or grants to continue this work beyond the hackathon.

### Submission Requirements

Create a GitHub repository for your project, then submit it using the Gitcoin UI.

All bounty submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM EDT on October 11th, 2021, or earlier.

### Judging Criteria
This entry will be judged based on the following:
- Mathematical accuracy
- Clear and thorough technical documentation
- Future plans for development and application

The submission will be compared to other advanced submissions in the non-Defi space.

### Winner Announcement Date
Projects will be evaluated within 2 weeks of the hackathon ending or earlier when possible. Winners will be announced the week of October 25th, and the payout will occur after the winners are announced.

### Payment details
Make sure you input your OWN, NON-custodial CSPR wallet to be sure to receive payouts.
If CSPR cannot be accepted in certain jurisdictions, winners will receive the equivalent amount in USDT. Gitcoin establishes the conversion rate.
