I'm opening up this Issue to provide a place for community members to contribute their questions, comments, and concerns regarding the topics covered by the Lesson Publication Task Force. You can read more about the Task Force's goals in the [charter document in this repo](https://github.com/carpentries/task-forces/blob/main/2021/Lesson-Publication/Lesson-Publication-Charter.md).

Research direction
Start by reading the Lesson Publication Charter document linked in the issue, then review the questions under publication scheduling, authorship, responsibility, and usefulness. Done would require turning these open questions into agreed guidance for the Lesson Publication Task Force.
