Description
### How could the content be improved?
In https://github.com/carpentries/curriculum-development/issues/28 Karen mentioned how helpful it could be to be able to provide a rough estimate for how many person hours it takes to take a new lesson through to something like beta status. Is this something we should include in the CLDT curriculum?
Or is this information better placed upstream, e.g. on https://carpentries.org/lesson-development/ ?
### Which part of the content does your suggestion apply to?
Not sure, but maybe https://carpentries.github.io/lesson-development-training/operations.html

Research direction
Read operations.html and the discussion in carpentries/curriculum-development#28 first. Compare whether the requested time estimate belongs in this training curriculum or upstream on carpentries.org/lesson-development/. Done means the appropriate location and the scope of the estimate are decided and documented.
