Description
### How could the content be improved?
Hi all!
First Trainers' meeting on 2025-11-06 we discussed AMY mentions in IT based on the post workshop feedback from one trainer.
Couple questions for discussion here.
1. Seems like some trainers show AMY and point learners to team@carpentries when they don't have an account or aren't sure about how to access it. Should we add this action to the lesson materials?
2. Talking about AMY is part of the agenda for the welcome session that they attend as part of checkout. Instead of my suggestion in 1, we could add a note that says they will learn more about this in AMY.
3. Some combo of both.

Research direction
Start with the checkout lesson at instructor/14-checkout.html and review the AMY discussion described in the issue. Resolve whether the lesson should explain the team@carpentries access path, point learners to the welcome session, or do both; done means the chosen guidance is agreed and reflected in the lesson.
