Sharing survey data with learners?

In the [Teaching Your Trajectory: Workshop 101](https://carpentries.github.io/instructor-training/23-introductions.html#teaching-your-trajectory-workshop-101) we suggest sharing and discussing survey data with learners. It is actually critical that the survey data that Instructors and hosts get **not** be shared directly with learners.

Are we suggesting here that Instructors share a general summary as part of the introduction? For example, saying something like "I see a lot of you have a background in XYZ" or "Several of you said you haven't worked with XYZ before." If so, maybe we should make that clearer so it doesn't look like we are saying that Instructors should actually discuss the survey results with learners.

Read the Teaching Your Trajectory: Workshop 101 section linked in the issue, especially the guidance about sharing survey data. Clarify whether instructors should give only a general summary, and make clear that the survey results themselves must not be shared directly with learners.
