Video recording teaching demos at in-person trainings

For in-person trainings, we ask people to video record their teaching demo. However, we don't ever say what to do with the recording afterwards. What is the reason for recording the demos? If there is no purpose, consider removing this direction. If there is a purpose, add in an explanation of what that is. Additionally, emphasize that the recording should be done on the person's own phone so that no one has someone else's video on their phone.

Locate the in-person training instructions for recording teaching demos and read the surrounding guidance. Confirm whether the recording has a stated purpose; if not, the recording direction should be removed, and if so, explain that purpose. In either case, make clear that participants should use their own phones so they do not retain someone else's video.
