Does the image provided by the Preview carry the metadata?

I am trying to handle the metadata provided by the image provided by the camera above image but apparently it does not deliver any kind of metadata.

Just run the component and try to handle the metadata provided by the component

By delivering the metadata, the component can be scalable to a larger scale of use.

in case anyone has time to spare, please explain to me how the camera orientation issue works :)
