Description

Icons are frequently used with links. Currently, icons used with links remain black. Is it possible to match the color of the icons with the text color or to make it easy to adjust the icon color?

Research direction

Start by locating the framework’s icon styling and link color rules, then reproduce the black-icon behavior shown in the attached image. Determine how icon colors currently follow light/dark theme colors and define a way for linked icons to match or accept the text color. Done means the behavior is documented by relevant styling tests or examples and works across the supported themes.
