Description

When trying to enroll a device using `iot-agent`, the following error is generated:

`2022-09-13T13:13:21Z iot-agent.mqtt[701]: 2022/09/13 13:13:21 Error with enrollment: (EnrollDevice) assertion model: type of snap "snapd" must be one of app|base|gadget|kernel|core`

This is caused by the `iot-identity` image being too old. Using an up-to-date image allows the device enrollment to succeed.

Please update the `sonicblue/iot-identity` image used by microk8s.

Research direction

Start by locating the microk8s deployment configuration that references the sonicblue/iot-identity image. Update that image reference and verify that device enrollment no longer produces the snapd assertion-model error.
