This test broke unexpectedly after I added a private snap for myself.

Locate the disabled `test_get_basic_items` test and inspect how it discovers snaps, especially the assumptions affected by a private snap. Run that test to reproduce the failure, then re-enable it and confirm it passes without depending on the reporter's private snap.
