Research direction
Start in blockingconcurrentqueue.h and inspect the try_dequeue functions, especially the loop around inner.try_dequeue(item). Trace the false-return path and determine whether it can repeat indefinitely. Done means establishing the cause and adding a verified fix or regression test for the reported stuck behavior.
