Description
Is there any way to configure Excalibur to not use its database? I would like to not keep track of the converted documents.

Research direction
No files or tests are named. Start by tracing how Excalibur configures and records converted documents, then determine whether an existing setting disables that persistence. Done means a documented, tested way to run without tracking, or a clear explanation that it is unsupported.
