Description

Hi

I am using stream flavor to extract tables. It is working perfectly fine where there is a 6-digit number (i.e. 591,837) in a cell but when there is a 7-digit number (i.e. 4,052,954) in my pdf then it is merging the cells. Because I am working with the numeric data, it is important to extract the digits correctly in their cells. I am attaching a contour plot of my table as well where problematic rows are highlighted. Vertical bars in this image are showing the ideal split.
What could be a possible parameter tweak or other solution which should I follow in this case? Thanks

Research direction

Start by investigating Camelot's stream flavor handling using the attached contour plot and the reported difference between 6-digit and 7-digit numeric values. Reproduce the table-extraction behavior if the source PDF is available; done means numeric values remain in their intended separate cells.
