Description

### Current behaviour
Touch events are not registered.

I believe this is related to the New Architecture, per [this issue filed on React Native](https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/50465). However, the resolution to this issue was that this is expected behavior, so this is still a bug here.

### Expected behaviour
Touch events should register.

### How to reproduce?
Create a `TextInput` and set the `activeUnderlineColor` to `"transparent"`. (Even a very light gray seems to trigger the issue.)
