Description

Surely someone might want to cite the dataset in their paper or something. To do this, we'll need to search through the source project releases to see if there's something citable there, either the whole project or the dataset.

The cloud API endpoint should likely return a release if it can find one.

Research direction

Trace the dataset import flow and the cloud API endpoint mentioned in the issue, then inspect how source project releases are represented. The work is done when an applicable citable release for the project or dataset is discovered and returned by the cloud API.
