maybe I should go back to just linking Settings.java, the javadoc isn't better imo

Start with the generated baritone/api/Settings.html#field.detail page and compare it with the Settings.java source referenced in the issue. Determine whether the Javadoc can show each setting's default value; done means the published settings documentation exposes that value clearly, or the documentation links directly to the source if that is not possible.
