Feature Request : Better UX for Gauge

I've enhanced the user experience of Gauge rendering by adding couple of elements into it.
Following elements are added
- outline around arc for indicating threshold values
- needle to indicate the current value distinctly

If everyone on board here find these enhancements useful in general, I will like to take it up and contribute.
Or kindly let me know if there is already something similar on roadmap.
