Feedback: Instruction Guide?

Apparently you need to run the app with admin privileges and if the options are checked when you start does that mean they are already set?
I eventually saw the log file and it looked like stuff was happening (saw the permission denied entries, hence realizing I needed to launch with admin rights) - but I would prefer to make the choices - then click a button to enable the changes - not have them auto select and have changes made when I launch the app.

Am I missing something? Thanks.

Start by reproducing the app launch with options checked and without administrator privileges, then inspect how those options are applied and how the log reports permission errors. Done means the privilege requirement and option state are clear, and the requested apply-after-selection behavior is addressed or documented.
