Add more Apps for installer and Check for updates label:enhancement

It would be great:
- if it's possible to add personal apps to the list
- show installed version vs. latest available version may triggered on a button press or on startup (may take some time).

Start by locating the installer’s current app list and the flow that displays installed applications. Then trace how version information could be retrieved and when an update check could run. Done means users can add personal apps and can compare installed and latest versions on startup or through a button.
