As suggested in https://github.com/buildingSMART/ifc-gherkin-rules/issues/428
Add new a concept template for IFC4.4 (maybe 4.1.7.1.1.5 Alignment Geometry - Approximate) showing IfcShapeRepresentation.Item = IfcPolyline, IfcIndexedPolyCurve, or IfcOffsetCurveByDistances. In the definition of the CT, make clear the alignment does not have a layout and don't have any language regarding zero-length segments.
