Cardinal point usage example seems a bit confusing

Looks like the images
Figure 8.10.2.1.A use wrong hand coordinate systems ( x -> left )
and Figure 8.10.2.1.B is shown in very non ifc way. (usually profile at bottom and z up, then the left is left)
Of course the hole 'left' in element depends where you are looking from.

also here the profile left is right. So I assume this is by desing?
