IfcConstraint Usage for As-built/complete models

After reading through documentation for IfcConstraint (and its subclasses Objective and Metric), I am wondering if there could be some way to say if a constraint has been met (or failed in a rare case). This could be as simple as an attribute, such as 'FulfilmentStatus' or similar, or a schema-defined property set, as current implementation feels a little bit hollow, with no standardised way to define success for delivering on constraints.

The issue names IfcConstraint and its Objective and Metric subclasses, but no repository files or tests. Start by locating their schema definitions and documentation; a completed contribution would specify a standard representation for fulfilled and failed constraints in as-built or complete models.
