Warn on [security] updates available

We already have usage data setup for a while, and we could use this infra to check if there are updates available.

We would need to have some metadata if updates have been released, and if these updates contain security fixes.

Maybe with all those startups which provide security warnings, we could connect to that API for querying our own status
